HUNTINGTON HILLS BASEMENT
A beautiful, modern update to a Huntington Hills basement! Our client wanted to transform their basement into a cozy, modern space. The couple also needed our help to transform it into a legal basement suite for future passive income!
In order to make this happen we paid attention to a few major things. First off we wanted to make it sound proof between the two living spaces – upstairs and downstairs. We wanted to make sure the couple felt confortable renting their basement suite, without it bothering their current lifestyle.
We also wanted to make sure their future tenants were confortable, thermal wise. We installed a subfloor to insulate from the cold concrete underneath. We also sprayed foamed joist cavities and R20 insulated walls. Creating a confortable space for any future tenants.
WILLOW PARK HOME
This home started out feeling a bit dark and outdated. We were given the task to renovate the main floor of this two-story home, and create a brighter, more functional space for the homeowners. With a referral from a close designer we work with, we took on this task and transformed the entire main floor!
We leveled the flooring in the kitchen, formal living room and dining room to give the space a bigger feel, and more flow throughout the space. With new hardwood floors, new tiled floor, new paint, quartz countertops and a brand new island – this space is refreshed and hardly recognizable from where it began.
Our main goal was to give this space a refreshed feel, while also maximizing their space and improving the overall layout of the main floor. We completely redesigned the kitchen, formal living room and back entrance in order to give these clients the best functional space for their lifestyle.
LAKEVIEW CONDO
We met this family at the We Build Renovation Tour in Willow Park. They are empty nesters – and down sizing to condo living. We did a full renovation of the main floor and upper level in a townhouse style condo. We made some beautiful modern choices throughout the renovation – so this couple could start fresh in an updated space.
Jason is the heart behind the brand, and the brains behind the company strategy. With over 15 years in the building construction industry, his skills and knowledge are vast – but how he got into the industry, well that is less conventional!
Jason’s passion for woodworking started as a young skateboarder, determined to craft his very own skateboard ramp. Since his very first project, he was enamoured with the building process – how you could transform something so simple into your own unique vision! This has engrained in Jason his key principles – taking his clients vision, and making it into a reality. That is why the client is the most important part of the process for Jason, and why his customer service in the industry is unbeatable!
His ultimate goal is that We Build will have left a positive, lasting impression on all of their clients and that they will have established a relationship based on mutual trust and respect. The fact that they will fall back in love with their home, is just a bonus!
